Transitional Students & Families Unit — The district unit that serves foster youth, refugee and asylee students, and students experiencing unstable housing.

UPP

Unduplicated Pupil Percentage — The share of a district's enrollment that is low-income, learning English, and/or in foster care, which determines how much extra state funding the district receives.

VAPA

Visual and Performing Arts — An academic subject area covering visual art, music, theater, dance, and media arts.
