Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Coach Nick Sports, San Leandro, CA, for the latter to serve as a Health and Wellness Coach , assisting teachers with scheduling sport activities (determined by the school site) for at least 290 student participants, including assisting teachers in the implementation of trauma informed fitness strategies and techniques; support the creation and utilization of Health and Wellness lesson plans that maximize youth physical fitness and skill development while incorporating opportunities to recognize, practice, and develop competence in the High Impact Attributes (life skills for healthy decision making) during sport activities; serve as a supportive mentor by consistently showing belief in youth participants and by celebrating their successes; set up and break down for program/practice/activity, and maintain/organize equipment at Acorn Woodland Elementary School, for the period of August 12, 2019 through May 29, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $32,000.00.
