Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Dwana Timms, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, train and lead peer educators to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, and Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs (ATOD) awareness sessions for students violating District’s tobacco/drug free policies, cessation and strengths-based life skills and behavior coaching in coordination with the site's COST and administrative team and school site staff at three (3) high school sites, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 19, 2019 through May 29, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $6,400.00.
