Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and We Lead Ours, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, train and lead peer educators to provide classroom and assembly anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, and Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs (ATOD) awareness sessions for students violating District tobacco/drug free policies, cessation and strengths-based life skills and behavior coaching at 8 middle and high school sites in coordination with the site's Coordination of Services Team (COST) and administrative team and school site staff and related services, if any, as described in the Scope of Work, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 12, 2019 through May 29, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
