Approval by the Board of Education of a Filming Access Agreement between the District and Open’ Hood Inc., Oakland, CA, granting latter access privileges to District sites, personnel and pupils, pursuant to terms and conditions permitted by law and of said Agreement, allowing Producer and Producer’s film crew to create a documentary film capturing the complex social issues within education and the Oakland Unified School District by conducting interviews, photographing, video/audio taping District staff, students, teachers, and parents/guardians, and authorizing the President and Secretary of the Board to sign the Agreement for same with said Producer with work scheduled to commence on November 25, 2019 and last for a term not exceeding two years at no cost to the District.
