Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Soccer Without Borders, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide activities to at least 100 newly-arrived refugee and asylum-seeking male and female students grades 5-12 San Antonio Park Middle School Program (from various middle school sites), Castlemont (School Day) Fremont (School Day) Rudsdale Newcomer Continuation School, Frick Middle School as follows: organize and provide transportation to weekly games; provide week-long soccer camp for up to 200 newly arrived refugee and asylum-seeking students during summer of 2020; and provide after school soccer programs for up to 100 middle and high school students during the summer of 2020, via English Language Learner and Multilingual Achievement Department, for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $112,000.00 and COVID Amendment thereto.
