Approval by the Board of Education of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Center for Ecoliteracy (CEL), Berkeley, CA, and District, via its Nutrition Services Department, for continued Implementation of the Rethinking School Lunch Oakland (RSLO) Initiative, establishing agreements and defining shared commitment to continuing to implement the RSLO Initiative over the next three years (2020-2023), continuing the work on which partnering began in 2011, and continuing to advance many of the activities undertaken in the 2018-2019 school year outlined herein, including comprehensive school food innovations and associated educational programs in the District, at no cost to the District.
