Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and CORE (Consortium on Reading Excellence in Education), Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonemic Awareness, Phonics and Sight) Plus for Secondary Newcomer and Intervention Classes and Challenge and SIPPS Plus for Elementary Newcomer and Intervention Classes and Challenge, as specified, for English Language Development (ELD) teachers and paraprofessionals, as described in Exhibit A of Agreement, via the English Language Learner and Multilingual Achievement Department, for the period of September 1, 2020 through November 30, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
