Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Joahua Ilyas, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 18 hours a week, with a case load of up to 20 students, of holding weekly mentoring conversations with students on caseload; hold restorative and humanizing discipline space for students with low level need; participate in grade level meetings once a month to keep updated on classroom needs and student progress; facilitate small group skill building sessions; maintain student files and use data to track students’ progress as determined by COST and co-created goals; attending weekly COST meetings and follow up as determined by Committee, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 17, 2020 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00.
