Adds $340,000 to Star Elevator's elevator repair and compliance contract and extends it to June 2021

The Board approves an amendment adding $340,000 to Star Elevator's agreement for emergency callback service, equipment repairs and state compliance work on district elevators and wheelchair lifts, as needed. The attached amendment raises the not-to-exceed amount from $340,000 to $680,000 and extends the term to June 30, 2021. The official text misprints the new total as $600,000 and the end date as January 31, 2021.

Plain-English summary written by AI from the official text. Reviewed Oct 4, 2026

Corrected Oct 4, 2026: New total corrected from $600,000 to $680,000 and end date from January 31, 2021 to June 30, 2021, per the attached amendment.

Discrepancy from the official text. The official text gives a new not-to-exceed total of $600,000 and an end date of January 31, 2021, but $340,000 plus $340,000 is $680,000 and the attached amendment shows a term ending June 30, 2021. (Confirmed by a reviewer.)

Notes on the official text

  • A second reading of the official text found a new total of $600,000.
