Ratification by the Board of Education of Memorandum of Understanding and COVID Amendment between the District and Upward Roots, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to partner with schools and afterschool agencies to bring youth-led service learning to the expanded learning space, as described in Exhibit “A” Scope of Work, incorporated herein as though fully set forth, at Brookfield Elementary, East Oakland Pride, Elmhurst United, Emerson Elementary, Esperanza Elementary, Frick School of Language, Grass Valley Elementary, Hoover Elementary, Horace Mann Elementary, Korematsu Discovery Academy, Life Academy, Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary, Prescott Elementary, Sankofa Academy, and Urban Promise Academy, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of April 10, 2020 through April 10, 2023, at no cost to the District.
