Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Mills Teacher Scholars, Oakland, CA, for the latter to plan and facilitate 13.5 hours of collaborative inquiry work, virtual or in-person; plan and facilitate 9 hours of small-group leadership support sessions; facilitate school site-specific collective visioning and goal-setting between SEL Lead Learners and their respective principals; provide resources and support for SEL Lead Learners and classroom teachers to build schoolwide SEL through public and facilitating learning conversations at their sites; synthesize SEL Lead Learners’ key understandings of student learning needs, teacher instructional shifts to improve practice, and understand ways to support colleagues at their sites for progress reports and evaluation data via the Academics and Instructional Innovation Department, for the period of October 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $29,000.00.
