Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Marcus A. Foster Educational Institute, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support for District grant-funded volunteer work by processing stipends for school-site partners - parents, students, site-based non-OUSD employees, and other community volunteers that promote health and wellness at schools - lead wellness councils, promote safe walking and biking to school, healthy eating and thriving gardens and support school-site LGBTQ student advisory committees and adult sexual health referral coordinators; and family health advocates who help other families enroll in health and social services and access services provided by the District’s Central Family Resource Center via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of November 8, 2020 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $35,400.00.
