Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Professional Services Agreement between the District and R&D Consultants, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide the following additional student and family support services specific and unique to Distance Learning/ Shelter-in-Place protocol: Weekly home visits to identified students requiring deliveries of school materials, clothing and PPE and food; family Liaison to provide technology support, student and family login and access support to attend daily and weekly classes and parent meetings and school or District sponsored webinars; family Liaison to provide transportation services to and from Burckhalter Elementary School for access to the parent room (i.e., washing machine and dryer) for students and family in transition, English Language Learners and Special Education students, in the additional amount of $15,000.00, increasing the Agreement not to exceed amount from $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 and extending the Agreement term from October 28, 2020 through May 28, 2021 to June 11, 2021. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
