Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) 2020-2021 between the District and Girls Inc. of Alameda County, Oakland, CA, for the latter to increase number of and hours of program leaders to increase support to teachers and students during and after school hours and to hire four subcontractors with each to provide enrichment activities in gender-specific groups for 60-90 minutes per day in activities such as tutoring, cooking, meditation, and youth empowerment at West Oakland Middle School, in an additional amount of $84,156.00, increasing the MOU not to exceed amount from $88,558.00 to $172,714.00, for the period August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2021. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
