Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Ball for Life Oakland, Oakland, CA, for the latter to facilitate two cohorts for students in grades 6th through 8th twice a week for 45 minutes each - consisting of clear objectives, opening and closing quotes, interactive trivia via Kahoot, opportunities for student interaction via zoom and chat box, yoga integrated full-body warm-up; live individual skill coaching instructional/interdisciplinary videos (e.g. sport science, basketball, and protest, etc.), emphasis on connections between basketball and life opportunities for appreciations/feedback; provide students with the opportunity to be physically and mentally active in a supportive communal virtual environment - at LaEscuelita Elementary School, for the period of March 17, 2021 through May 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $6,500.00.
