Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Kiara Howard, Antioch, CA, for the latter to work 325 hours to support student engagement by coordinating a student leader internship program with COST and school site staff in the zoom space collaborating on activities that train District student interns on increasing attendance and academic performance among their peers who are low performing in service to their own school site; train District interns on building projects to teach their peers, their school site staff, and their parents on youth drug education, holistic health practices, how race, law, and politics influence rates of incarceration and exploitation of youth, and perform other activities and/or projects, as described in the Exhibit “A” of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of March 1, 2021 through May 27, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $13,000.00.
