Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Agreement 2020-2021 between the District and Roger Smith, Los Angeles, CA, for the latter to work virtually with students to build community to create a safe space and to build trust in class for students to research and perform history through archival materials of their own choosing to create a solo work of art that engages the social past, present and future informed by collaborative ensemble critique, as well as a committed rehearsal process in “lifting the work off the page” through improvisational impulse and “breathing in the moment” and to provide feedback and coaching for revisions, rehearsals, and page to stage performance for Performing Art students at Skyline High School, via the Linked Learning Department, for the period of April 20, 2021 through June 30, 2021, in an amount not to exceed $4,000.00.
