Approval by the Board of Education of a Grant Agreement by and between the District and the City of Oakland, with District accepting $85,000.00 in City of Oakland Measure Z (2014 Oakland Public Safety and Services Violence Prevention Act) funding, in the Youth Life Coaching and Reentry sub-strategy, for placement of students exiting the Juvenile Justice Transition Center (JJTC) into an Oakland Unified School District (OUSD) educational site or other educational institution and for referring eligible youth to life coaching services, including staffing of one Enrollment Coordinator and the provision of services for up to 375 youth to be re-enrolled back into an OUSD school and 150 youth to be referred for life coaching services, as more specifically defined in the Schedule A of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
