Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 - No Cost by and between the District and National Flooring Contractors Flooring Apprenticeship Program, Inc. (NFCAP), Miami, FL, for the latter to provide to students hands on pre-apprenticeship training in flooring installation that leads to industry certifications including National Wood Flooring Association, National Tile Contractors Association, Certified Flooring Installers and the National Association of Floor Covering Technician, preparing students to accept employment at one of their apprenticeship sponsors that will continue training students as apprentices on the job until they complete all certifications and become Journeyman Flooring Installers and provide the Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructors for the hands-on training and to teach basic skills and workforce readiness classes, via Oakland Adult & Career Education, for the period of January 15, 2022 through December 31, 2025, at no cost to the District.
