Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Engineering Services by and between the District and IDA Structural Engineers, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services for review of the deteriorating existing site retaining wall between the school yard and sidewalk along 17th Street, including engaging a testing agency to determine concrete strength and reinforcing in the wall, for the Garfield Elementary School Site Renovation Project, in an additional amount of $13,200.00, which includes a not-to-exceed amount of $5,000.00 for additional services, increasing Agreement not-to-exceed amount from $34,800.00 to $48,000.00, and the additional services not-to-exceed amount from $5,800.00 to $10,800.00. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
