County raises its payment cap for district special education counseling services by $39,190 to $1,245,047

This first amendment raises the contract maximum under the district's 2021-22 agreement with Alameda County Behavioral Health from $1,205,857 to $1,245,047, an increase of $39,190. The district is the County's contractor: it provides Counseling Enriched Special Day Class services (special education classes with added counseling) and the County pays it, funded by Medi-Cal billing revenue. The amendment also replaces the budget, rate sheet and another exhibit. It covers July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, a period that ended before this vote.

Plain-English summary written by AI from the official text. Reviewed Oct 3, 2026

Discrepancy from the official text. The text names the District as "Contractor" but says the County provides the services, so it is unclear whether the added $39,190 is paid by or to the District; the attached agreement shows the District provides the services and is paid by the County.
