Extends the City of Oakland's lease of a modular library building at Piedmont Elementary; rent of up to $150,000
The board is approving a first amendment to a joint-use lease that lets the City of Oakland use an existing modular building at Piedmont Elementary School as a public library. The City pays the district $2,500 a month. The lease is extended until the earlier of the completion of the library construction project or five years, so rent could total up to $150,000 (the figure in the board memo). All other terms stay the same.
