Adds $4,500.00 to The Teaching Well's agreement for six racial affinity healing groups
The district is adding $4,500.00 to its agreement with The Teaching Well, raising the most it can pay from $21,825.00 to $26,325.00. The nonprofit-style group sessions meet for 90 minutes each month and use listening and body-based practices to address trauma and bias. The time period does not change (July 25, 2022 through June 30, 2023). This is a ratification, meaning the board approves it after the agreement was made.
