Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2022-2023 by and between the District and Oakland Kids First, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a Farm Education Co-manager who serves to manage the Castlemont Farm and Gardens as an education space through cultivation and stewardship of the space; lead programming that provides students with the opportunity to learn about how to grow, produce, maintain a 1-acre farm; manage spaces for production focused on education, manage farm planning, cultivation and maintenance, collaborate deeply with the Castlemont Food Systems Team; engage with pathway programs and Castlemont Community, and facilitate Knight Time After School Program at Castlemont High School, for the period of January 1, 2023 through June 30, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
