Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2023-2024 by and between the District and Oakland Public Education Fund, Oakland, CA, for the latter to employ a facilitator to engage with African-American (AA) families: parents and caregivers of students in grades 10 through 12 in AAMA and AAFE Programs; perform a variety of proficient, specialized duties related to implementation of meaningful family engagement standards, requiring good communication skills and organization, in core area such as student/family outreach; and conduct kings circles, a weekly group to support AA young men AA, young women at Dewey Academy, for the period of April 8, 2024 through June 30, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
