Extends Sonja Biggs Educational Services' visual-impairment teacher contract to 2025; the $50,000 cap is unchanged
The board is asked to ratify an amendment extending the agreement from June 30, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Sonja Biggs Educational Services, Inc. provides a Teacher of the Visually Impaired who completes legally required assessments, serves students with documented or suspected visual impairments, joins Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and keeps service logs. The attached amendment leaves the $50,000 not-to-exceed amount unchanged, so no money is added; the $50,000 is the existing limit for the contract.
