Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement by and between the District and FoodCorps, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide Members (up to 7 in OUSD) to serve alongside educators and school nutrition leaders for a year of national service to provide kids with nourishing meals, food education, and culturally affirming experiences with food that celebrates and nurtures the whole child, as described in Exhibit A of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period August 19, 2024 through July 31, 2025, at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00.
