Approves American Institutes for Research evaluation of Oakland's arrest-diversion program at no cost
American Institutes for Research will evaluate the Neighborhood Opportunity and Accountability Board, a program that diverts people from arrest to restorative options. A separate data sharing agreement lets the district and AIR share data. The district pays nothing, and both agreements run from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026.
