Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2024-2025 by and between the District and Central California Advisors, Turlock, CA, for the latter, in the absence of a Nutrition Services Director, to oversee operations and support the executive transition while enhancing training for production supervisors, cooks, and production assistants, with the role involving filling staffing gaps, developing coverage plans for known vacancies, and assisting leadership in identifying hiring needs; provide guidance on inventory procedures and warehouse operations, alongside leading the integration of Titan implementation across the District and central kitchen operations; ensuring compliance and developing standard operating procedures for the central kitchen, including equipment recommendations; observing and then leading production kitchen meetings to help create actionable steps, while effective protocols and staff training are established to optimize operations; coordinate improvements to communications from the Central Kitchen to school sites to foster a shared understanding of operational requirements; support remodeling school site kitchens to align with district needs, conduct preliminary food cost evaluations, leading to a report with recommendations for improved food quality or cost savings, and analyze current menus and offer feedback to introduce healthier, fresher meal options for students, via the Nutrition Services Department, for the period of October 15, 2024 through June 30, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $86,400.00.
