Partners with Reach University to place teacher and counselor interns in OUSD schools through 2029
This memorandum of understanding (MOU) sets up internship and practica programs with Reach University for teaching credentials, special education credentials and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credentials. It costs the district nothing beyond the pay of teacher interns who are district employees, plus possible stipends for some non-employee interns from nonprofit grants such as Ed Fund. The term is January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2029.
