Accepts free outdoor trips for Oakland High students from the Sierra Club through 2028
The Sierra Club's Inspiring Connections Outdoors program will pair trained volunteers with Oakland High School teachers to take students on hikes, camping trips, snow trips and other nature outings. The Sierra Club funds the trips, so the district pays nothing. The agreement runs September 1, 2025 through September 1, 2028, and the board is ratifying it after it began.
