Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Community Initiatives, Oakland, CA, for the latter to have MENTOR California collaborate with up to eight high schools to train 70 students throughout the school year and summer to lead reading groups in after-school programs, serving approximately 250 elementary-aged students; train adults from all summer program sites on the mentoring mindset, with adults supporting up to 8,500 students during the summer, and other services, as further described in Exhibit A of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, via Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $85,000.00.
